The Roane County Historical Society is excited to announce that representatives of the "Old Hickory" (Ripley, WV) Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) will be our guests for the society's meeting on THURSDAY, MARCH 22nd, 7:00 p.m. at the Roane County Library, 110 Parking Plaza, Spencer, WV. If you are interested in learning more about the DAR and the steps needed to prove an ancestor's service in the American Revolution or to become a member, then this is the place to be on Thursday evening.
