With membership dues renewal coming up I was wondering what the advantage is to belong to this Society? I have posted many photos to the site over the years and searched cemeteries for others. Most of your membership is out of state and can't answer queries but the ones who live in the Roane Co area should at least respond to them. There are researchers that respond right away and try to help while others do not even reply. We don't know if they are dead, not doing research any more, or just don't know. But at least put some answer down. I've posted queries in the past with questions about a family, even listed the facts and sources. But get no response from the person who is the researcher for his own name. Even went so far as to send him an Email. My computer shows he opened it on his screen but no reply. Sorry if I sound upset but I am with this person. If he's not going to be a researcher then remove his name. Then he will have more time to sell his books.
