Pauline W. Larch, 89, of Newark, Ohio, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010.
She was born at Walton, a daughter of the late Roma and Ora Harper Walker. She graduated from Walton High School, raised her family in St. Albans and lived in Cross Lanes before moving to Ohio. She attended Charleston Business College and retired after 20 years of service with the W.Va. State Health Dept. She was a member of Bible Center Church, Charleston, and First Baptist Church, Heath, Ohio. She was involved in Young at Heart and Friends Forever.
She is survived by three daughters, Christena Walsh of Heath, Cheryl Lilly of Newport News, Va., and Cara Nightengale of Marengo, Ohio; two sisters, Annilee Conley of Spencer and Lucille Miller of Charleston; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Arthur H. Larch.
Service was Wednesday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, Newark, with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating. Burial was in Newark Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 525 S. 30th St., Heath OH 43056.
