Guy W. Kessel, 75, Dies at Home at Frame
Guy Winton Kessel, 75, former employee of the United Fuel Gas Co., died Thursday at his home, Frame, Rt. 1. He was a member of Walton Lodge A. F. & A. M. No. 150, Walton IOOF Lodge No. 132 and the Sandy Knob Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clora Kessel; six sons, James E., Steubenville, O., William O. Bradford, Pa., Roy and Kelvie of Rand, Okey, Dunbar and Marvin, Limestone, NY; four daughters, Mrs. Lessie Paxton, Spencer, Mrs. Arthur Brisendine, Frame, Mrs. Pearl Cavender, Rand and Mrs. Maysel Cantrell, Rensford; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Bell Casto; three brothers, George L., North Charleston, Oak, Dunbar, and Kenney of Kentuck; 40 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at the Sandy Knob Church. Rev. Early Abbott will officiate. Burial will be in Cummings Cemetery. The body was removed yesterday from the Albert Myers & Son Mortuary, Elkview, to the residence.
