Samuel Wesley Roberts

Samuel Wesley Roberts was buried April 14, 1904. He was born Nov. 4, 1840. He came from Ohio to this state in 1853. He leaves his wife, Mattie Stewart Roberts, one daughter, Mrs. Clara McMillon; two grandchildren, Hazel and Ernest McMillon; his mother, three brothers and six sisters. For many years he had been the faithful agent at the Reedy depot. William H. Evans was appointed in his stead.

(Excepts from The Reedy News and used in Reedy Books put out by the son of Editor Fred. E. Craig. He also got information directly from people in the community or away from Reedy.)
