According to the Roane County Blue and Gray, William Beach was a Private in Co. H 25th Ohio Infantry, b. 1839, d. 1894, buried in Stoney Point Cemetery, Middle Fork Reedy Creek.
The 1890 census veterans schedule shows him in the area of the Reedy Post Office. There appear to be both invalid and widow pension applications on file in the national archives. Hope this is of some help. Good luck. |
