My mother was born March 22, 1927 Roane County, WV. Married Willard Percival (Percy) Ferrell May 3, 1946. Died September 30, 2002 at home, Kanawha County, WV. Jimmy Jett was born 2/20/1934 Roane County, WV. Died 1/11/2007 Canton, Ohio. Lucille & Jimmy are the children of Morgan Shelbin Jett and Icie Alice Criner. |

A picture of Lindsey Epison Smith and some of his family taken in 1916. He joined the Union Army on 09 Dec 1861 and served with Co. B, 9th WV Infantry Volunteers during the Civil War. He reenlisted 29 Feb 1864 in Fayetteville, WV, was wounded in the Battle of Cloyds Mountain 09 May 1864 and was transferred to Co. C. 1st Regiment, Volunteer Infantry 09 Nov 1864. He was discharged 21 Jul 1865 at Cumberland, MD.
