Re: Lottie Caldwell Hickel (and dog)
This is my grandma Lottie Caldwell Hickel (Maggie). I spent many summers with her. She was amazing. She and Grandpa lived in the country on a small farm; Clover, Roane County, West Virginia outside of Spencer.

She would take me and my brother Bob on hikes down into the holler on her farm. It was so beautiful! There was this gigantic rock with a big hole in it, almost like a cave, Bob and I could climb into it. Fun!

One day I said to grandma, "I would love to have a bag of potato chips." Later that day she called me and my brother, Bob, into the house; on the kitchen table was a big plate full of """home made potato chips""", the best chips I have ever eaten. Thank you Grandma.
