Officer Joined: 2008/6/4 From: Posts: 234	Re: dewey shaffer Dewey Shafer 1902-1933 is buried at the Hunt/Jarvis Cem. on Ambler Ridge, aka Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Dewey was a son of Asa L. and Vernie Taylor Shafer who are buried at the same cemetery. Asa L. b. 4 Sept 1871 & died 20 July 1955. Verna was b. 8 Dec 1876 & d. 20 Dec 1931. Asa L. Shafer was s son of Jacob and Jane C. Shafer. The Asa Shafer family is listed in the 1900-1910-1920 census's of Roane Co., Walton, Harper Dist.
