My father's family lived in Spencer, W.Va. for i don't know how many years, and had a farm in Cherry Valley, east of Spencer. I was there to look around about 30 years ago, and found our family cemetery on a hill behind Cherry Valley Church. I believe that the old farmhouse was across the road from the church, but burned years ago. The family moved from there to Ohio, sometime in the 1940's, but my uncle, Cloyd Roberts stayed in Spencer and died in the 1980's, I think. His father...my grandfather, Hoyt Roberts, wife Emma had 14 children. My father, Laurence Roberts, died in Arizona in 1991. Any information I can offer, jut ask. I don't have much, really.
