[b]Jeremiah Lewellen[/b] This most worthy man was born in Monongalia county, August 27, 1825, moving to Roane county in the spring of 1861 and died at Spencer Monday., the result of old age. He was the father of C.W, M.F, T.H, J.W, and Mary the latter being the wife of Prof R.A. Douglas of our county. Funeral services were held at the M.P. Church yesterday with Rev C.P.
