Mrs. Annie Stewart, wife of W. P. Stewart, one of the old and respected inhabitants of Reedy, died August 2, 1907, at the age of 76 years. She was a good Christian lady, loved and respected by all who knew her for her many noble qualities of head and heart. She leaves a husband, one son in Colorado, and five daughters, Mrs. J. N. Board, Mrs. P. C. Brown, Mrs. A. G. Goad, Mrs. Myrtle Dicks, all of Reedy and Mrs. Myrtle Starkey of Illinois. The funeral was conducted by Revs. Dowell and Rupert at the M. E. Church South.
