[b]Rites Sunday For Ballard Caldwell[/b] Ballard P. Caldwell, 73, retired oil field pumper, died at his home Thursday following a short illness. Funeral services were held from the Banner church Sunday morning at 10:30 with Rev. Hankins officiating and internment was made in the Clover cemetery by the Hardman-Conrad Funeral Home. Mr. Caldwell was twice married and is survived by his second wife Sarah Matheny Caldwell; three sons and two daughters by his second marriage, Charles Caldwell, U. S. Army, James Caldwell, Pt. Pleasant, Robert Caldwell, Clover, Ocie and Bessie Caldwell at home; two sons and three daughters by his first marriage, Frank and John Caldwell, of Akron, Mrs. Amos Heffelfinger, Mrs. J. C.
