[b]Obituary[/b] [b]Harlan Wofle[/b], the subject of this sketch, was born December 18, 1906 an departed this life August 17, 1925, aged 18 years, 9 months, and 1 day. He was the only son of Clennen and Sally (Jones) Wolfe, who still survive him. He also leaves to mourn their loss an aged grandfather, Mr. Granville Jones, and three sisters, Mrs. Leonard Snyder and Mrs. Charles Thomas, of Akron, O. and Beulah at home besides a host of friends. Harlan was well known throughout Spencer and the surrounding country and his unexpected death caused by spinal meningitis came as a heavy shock to the family and friends. All human skill was employed to save his life, but to no avail. He was laid to rest in the Wilson cemetery, August 19, Rev. Dan Anderson, officiating. May God comfort the stricken family, and may they look upon God's way as being the best. [i]"A beloved form is gone form them.
