Just a general question on Roane Co. History. What was happening in the county in the 1845-1850 era? My gg-grandfather,Joshua Meadows settled in Roane Co. during that time and I've been trying to find what inspired him to move from Monroe Co. to Rush Creek. Thanks, Greg Meadows. Doc_Stone@yahoo.com
