For a period of eight years I lived next door to a beautiful lady by the name of Maureen Wallbrown Fisher. This was in Tampa Florida. What a coincidence that two people from Roane County West Virginia would be next door neighbors many, many, and many years after leaving Spencer. Maureen's family, The Winifred Wallbrown family, left Spencer in the 1920's for Akron Ohio. My family, The Virgil Hickel family, left in 1948 for Miami, Florida. Maureene's mother was Laura Hicks & my mother was Virginia Ogden before their marriages.
