I was a member of the Traditional Country Band for 10 years before retiring from the music stage in 2009 at 78 years old. We continue to jam once or twice a week with friends near Charleston, WV

This doorway leads to the von Nida Winery which closed in 1990 after being in operation for over 250 years.

A Family of Carpers taken at Nelson Carper's home at Amma. Date of picture is uncertain but it was prior to 1936 when Mac was killed in an auto accident in Elk River at Clendenin.
