John Allen Lowry was born in Monroe Co., VA(WV) on 5 Nov 1845 & died a Walton, Roane Co. 1 Jan 1930. He served during the Civil War, 1st WV Cavalry, the son of Thomas & Rachel Lynch Lowry. He was married to Virginia Hively in 1867 & they were parents of 4 children. Photo from Ralph G. Lowry Photo Collection recently donated to the Roane County Historical Society. |

| This is a photo of my grandmother Buena Wilson Ogden & my mother's half-brother Robert Bowman Ogden. This picture was taken about 1970 at Aunt Ruth's house in Buckhannon. My grandmother is descended from Nancy King Keen through her daughter Elizabeth Keen Tawney, Dora Tawney Wilson, Buena Wilson Ogden, Virginia Ogden Hickel, & then me. Uncle Bo & my mother Virginia with their families moved to Miami, Florida in 1948. |
