Officer Joined: 2008/6/4 From: Posts: 234	Re: Spencer State Hospital Cemetery, Rte 36, Spencer, WV A lone hilltop tree marks the site of the post 1935 Spencer State Hospital Cemetery. Spencer Elementary School is off the right side of photo, a fence and residential area is over the sloping hill beyond the tree....an August 16, 1940 W.P.A. reading indicated that there were 100 marked graves here; those graves are now identified with a plot map provided by Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, WV.
